In line with its continued commitment towards helping preserve the environment
and its natural resources, RAK Properties PJSC, one of the biggest property
developers listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, successfully organized a
beach clean-up campaign yesterday November 15, 2014 along the shorelines of the
Mina Al Arab area. The event saw the participation of members of the local
community, businesses and schools. The activity reflected the company’s support
for projects aimed at increasing more awareness on the social responsibility
for marine and wildlife conservation and preservation in the emirates,
particularly in the Mina Al Arab area.
During the event, participants removed
marine litter and debris—thereby improving the coastal environment of the
emirate. Special resource speakers from the Environment Protection &
Development Authority (EPDA) were present to give short talks and presentations
on the importance of beach clean-up activities. Special certificates and
souvenirs to children and residents taking part in the event were handed out.

العقارية" تطلق حملة تنظيف شاطئ "ميناء العرب"
الإمارات، 16 نوفمبر 2014 - في إطار إلتزامها
المتواصل بالحفاظ على البيئة والموارد الطبيعية، نظّمت "رأس الخيمة
العقارية" (RAK Properties PJSC)، إحدى
كبرى شركات التطوير العقاري في إمارة رأس الخيمة والمدرجة في سوق أبوظبي للأوراق
المالية، يوم أمس السبت في 15 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني الجاري حملةً لتنظيف الشاطئ في ميناء
العرب، وذلك وسط مشاركة واسعة من أفراد المجتمع المحلي والمؤسّسات والمدارس
القائمة في الإمارة. وجاءت هذه الحملة لتعكس حرص "رأس الخيمة العقارية"
على دعم مختلف المشاريع والفعاليات الرامية إلى زيادة مستوى الوعي العام حول أهمية
الإلتزام بالمسؤولية الإجتماعية للحفاظ على الحياة البرية والمائية في الإمارة
وخاصةً في منطقة ميناء العرب.
وتم خلال الحملة إزالة المخلّفات البحرية وجمع النفايات المنتشرة على
الشاطئ، بما أسهم في تحسين البيئة الشاطئية للإمارة. وتخلّل الحدث أيضاً محاضرات
قصيرة ومناقشات مستفيضة قدّمها نخبةٌ من المتّحدثين من هيئة حماية البيئة والتنمية
- رأس الخيمة" (EPDA)، شدّدوا خلالها على أهمية تنظيف الشواطئ وحمايتها في سبيل الحفاظ
على البيئة والأحياء البحرية. وتم في نهاية الحملة توزيع الشهادات والهدايا
التذكارية على المشاركين من الأطفال والمقيمين.
وقال محمد سلطان القاضي، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة
"رأس الخيمة العقارية": "نحن سعداء بالنجاح الذي حقّقته الحملة
ونؤكّد إلتزامنا الوثيق بمواصلة الجهود للمساعدة في الحفاظ على البيئة في الإمارة.
