Doha, Qatar, 8 February 2017: Ooredoo Q.S.C. (“Ooredoo”) - Ticker: ORDS won “Best Company for Excellence in Investor
Relations” and “Best Investor
Relations Website” awards at the second Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Investor
Relations Excellence Awards ceremony. Held on Monday, February 6th
2016, the event recognized Ooredoo’s best practice in investor relations and
its superior contribution to ensuring transparency and adequate disclosure
standards with capital market participants in Qatar.
The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) awards publically
listed companies that have demonstrated best-in-class investor relations (IR)
practices over the past year. The categories include most improved company in
investor relations, best Qatari company overall for excellence in IR, best
large cap company, best small cap company, best CFO, best IR officer, and best
IR website.
Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, Group Chief Executive
Officer, Ooredoo, said: “We in Ooredoo are delighted to have been
recognized for our investor relations efforts for a second year in a row. We commend
QSE’s mission to reward and encourage excellence in IR, and emphasize the
importance of benchmarking in this field.We remain committed to disclosing
information in line with best practices.”
Through an online tool launched by the QSE in 2016, members
of the international and regional investment community active in the Qatari
stock market placed their votes to help identify the companies which best
demonstrate superior transparency and international disclosure standards in
financial communication.
Ooredoo’s excellence in investor relations was also recognized
last year. The company won QSE’s Best Investor Relations Website and Best
Investor Relations Officer Awards. Regionally, the Middle East Investor
Relations Association (MEIRA) awarded Ooredoo Qatar with the Best Investor
Relations Corporate and Best Investor Relations Professional Awards in
September 2015.

الدوحة، قطـــــر، 8 فبراير 2017: حصلت Ooredoo ش.م.ق (رمز تداولها ORDS.QA) على جائزة "أفضل شركة للتميز في
علاقات المستثمرين" وجائزة "أفضل موقع لعلاقات المستثمرين على
الإنترنت" وذلك في حفل جوائز التميز في علاقات المستثمرين الذي تنظمه بورصة
قطر. وأقيم الحفل يوم الإثنين 6 فبراير 2017، حيث تم تكريم Ooredoo لتطبيقها أفضل الممارسات في علاقات المستثمرين،
ومساهمتها الكبيرة لضمان الشفافية وحرصها على تطبيق معايير الإفصاح للمتعاملين في
أسواق رأس المال في قطر.
وتمنح جوائز بورصة قطر لمكافأة الشركات المدرجة التي تبرهن على تطبيق أفضل
الممارسات المتعلقة بعلاقات المستثمرين خلال العام الماضي. وتتضمن فئات الجائزة كل
من الشركة التي حققت أكبر تحسن في علاقات المستثمرين، وأفضل شركة قطرية للتميز في
علاقات المستثمرين، وجائزة أفضل شركة قطرية كبيرة للتميز في علاقات المستثمرين،
وأفضل شركة قطرية صغيرة للتميز في علاقات المستثمرين، وأفضل مدير مالي، وأفضل مدير
علاقات مستثمرين، وأفضل موقع إنترنت للعلاقات المستثمرين.
وعلق الشيخ/ سعود بن ناصر آل ثاني (الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة) بقوله: "نحن في Ooredoo مسرورون بتكريم جهودنا في مجال علاقات

وكانت Ooredoo قد تم تكريمها العام الماضي في
مجال علاقات المستثمرين، فقد حصلت على جائزة أفضل موقع إلكتروني لعلاقات
المستثمرين، وجائزة أفضل مدير لعلاقات المستثمرين. أما على الصعيد الإقليمي، فقد
حصلت Ooredoo من رابطة
علاقات المستثمرين في الشرق الأوسط MEIRA
في سبتمبر 2015 على جائزة الشركة التي لديها أفضل علاقات مستثمرين وجائزة أفضل
موظف في علاقات المستثمرين.
